Kamyas or kalamyas. One of nature’s unappreciated fruits. A natural source of vitamins B and C, iron, phosphorus and antioxidants. Here in Batangas, we sun dry them to use in cooking pinangat or sinaing. It can also be incorporated in various dishes like my favorite kinalamyasang manok. My aunts love to pickle (buro) them. I love eating it freshly picked with salt. 😜
